What is the Universal X Spider?

Get back to what you love faster with the World’s #1 Pre-Cut Kinesiology Tape – SpiderTech. Used by medical professionals, top Olympic, professional athletes to the weekend warrior – the Universal X Spider is easy-to-use, drug-free, enhances performance, is waterproof and lasts up to 5 days. The four extending arms can shape around body contours and spread wide to cover a large area. Just stick it where it hurts – it’s so effective you have to experience it to believe it! Use it on your elbow, ankle, knee, back, wrist, shoulder, or anywhere for fast targeted relief!

How Does It Work?

SpiderTech tape works in more than one way to help you with recovery, performance, and prevention. SpiderTech tape is scientifically researched and developed with advanced wave technology purported to activate Merkel cells (nerve endings) on the skin that signal your central nervous system to block the discomfort (also known as “Sensory Gaiting”). Additionally, SpiderTech is designed to mimic the thickness and elasticity of human skin to help protect tissues during recovery for safer range of motion during exercise. Furthermore, SpiderTech tape lifts the skin with its technologically advanced adhesion that allows for improved fluid movements to decrease discomfort, increase mobility, and enhance performance. You could say that SpiderTech tape is the ultimate neuro-structural-circulatory innovation for active people today.

How Do You Apply It?

As easy as 1, 2, 3

Simply apply the versatile and easy-to-use Universal X Spider tape in just seconds to your neck, back, knee or wherever it hurts. Plus, the non-latex adhesive holds when you need it to without leaving any residue when removed. Apply the Universal X Spider to clean or shaved skin, tear all perforations before applying, peel back the backing tape marked #1 and stick it where it hurts. Gently rub the tape to activate the adhesive and then apply the tape marked #2 one at a time. Avoid touching the tape with your fingers to ensure the tape sticks to your targeted area. That’s it! Now you’re good for up to 5 days.

At the start of my recovery, when I was riding outside without the tape (SpiderTech), it was extremely painful. Then I got the tape, and the difference was amazing. It was suddenly not painful to ride anymore. And then I realized that if I didn’t tape, it would make a noticeable difference the next day. I’d be in so much more pain if I didn’t use the tape. I feel like it really sped up my recovery.” – Levi Leipheimer is one of the top U.S. professional cyclists, finishing 3rd in the 2007 Tour de France. In early 2012 he broke his fibula in a collision with a car while training but, in part thanks to SpiderTech tape, returned to competition in the Amgen Tour of California in May, finishing 6th.

I can't live without Spider Tech. I wear the pre-cut upper knee tape & the shoulder tape all the time for running & swimming and it makes such a massive difference!! I also love the X Spider which is now carried at GNC! It can go anywhere! Got to LOVE that!! Thanks Spider Tech for making a difference in my training and racing!!!”
Jenny Fletcher, Pro Triathlete

SpiderTech Tape is credited with helping me become a 2-time Ironman winner, and allowing me to compete again after a life-threatening biking accident. I suffered numerous broken bones including my clavicle and scapula, as well as contusions and lacerations to my head and neck. I remained in the intensive care unit for days in a sedated state and on a ventilator. I was fighting for my life, not Ironman titles.

I began using SpiderTech during my painful recovery as I started training again. On August 12, 2012, I was able to defy medical odds and won the 2012 U.S. Ironman Championship by an incredible 13 minutes and 14 seconds over the second-place finisher."
